In partnership with the trade office at our embassy in Germany, Katarzyna Estate participated in the official opening of the Bulgarian Presidency of the European Union in Berlin. Several meters from the Brandenburg Gate, in the Commerzbank AG building, a gala concert was organized with the participation of two talented Bulgarian women living in Germany – Johanna Kamenarska, concert master of the Hamburg Philharmonic Orchestra (violin) and Irina Georgieva (piano). Katarzyn Estate’s wines were tasted by ambassadors, diplomats, politicians, and business representatives.

After the special wine tasting of Katarzyna Estate in Opera Bombana, Beijing, Panthéon Wines organizes an official dinner. A special guest was the Ambassador of Bulgaria to China HE. Mr. Porozhanov. All guests enjoyed great time together with interesting discussions on topics such as Sino-Bulgarian relations, economy, history and, of course, Bulgarian wines. Special thanks to the wonderful dinner were to Mr. Stefano and Chef Marino from Opera Bombana for the great food and always the perfect experience accompanied by the best wines of Katarzyna Estate. Opera Bombana Restaurant in Beijing is a subsidiary of Bombana restaurant in Hong Kong owned by cook Humberto Bombana. The only Italian Michelin 3-star restaurant outside Italy. They call the owner and cook of Bombana the “truffle king,” and the guilt of Katarzyna Estate is already present in the menus of all the restaurants in the chain. Organizing such dinners, tasting wine cellars, has become a tradition.

The Katarzyna Estate partner in China – Panthéon Wines, organizes a great wine tasting at Opera Bombana, Beijing. High-level wine specialists gathered to sample a selection of 11 wines with the highest quality and number of awards from the Katarzyna Estate. The wines are: Chopin Sonata 2016; 10 Harvest Merlot Winemakers Selection 2016; Le Rose 2015; Les Fleurs 2015; Les Amandier 2015; Encore Syrah 2015; Chopin Nocturne 2014; Chopin Ballade 2013; Le Magnifique 2013; Question Mark Gold 2013, Katarzyna Estate 2011.

Among the invited were professional wine journalists, sommeliers from the best hotels and restaurants in China, collectors of fine wines and many others. Guests were impressed by the quality and characteristics of the wines.

On November 29, Panthéon Wines, the exclusive distributor of Katarzyna Estate in China, supported the fantastic concert of the international Bulgarian pianist Ivan Yanakov at the Jin Tai Museum in Beijing. The concert included classic compositions by Frederick Chopin, Franz Leist, Maurice Ravel, Pancho Vladigerov and a special interpretation of Autum Moon on a Calm Lake by Chinese composers Lu Wen Cheng and Chen Pei Xun. The number one in the program was the talented performer Maggie Xu, who grabbed the attention of the concert guests with her elegant presence and musical performance of Erhu (a traditional Chinese musical instrument). The concert was organized under the patronage of the Bulgarian Embassy to celebrate the upcoming Bulgarian presidency of the EU Council. Guests included leading Beijing business and culture representatives as well as ambassadors and diplomats from other countries. They all enjoyed Katarzyna Estate’s inspired music during the cocktail party.

The CHEVAL wines of Katarzyna Estate were tasted during the sixth economic forum of Manager Magazine – Bulgaria and the world in development. The open debate was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Tomislav Donchev and three of the brightest personalities in the business: the entrepreneur Ivaylo Penchev, Manager of the year 2017, arch. Plamen Mirjanov and the economic expert Vladimir Karolev.
