Chief Accountant - Sofia

We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Chief Accountant to join our team in Sofia and manage the financial and accounting activities of the company.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Organizes, plans, leads, and controls all accounting and financial activities.
• Assists management in making strategic decisions in the financial and economic sphere.
• Carries out internal financial control and monitors the legality of operations.
• Leads financial planning and participates in the development of accounting policy.
• Organizes and is responsible for the storage of accounting information in accordance with the law.
• Prepares and signs the annual financial report.

OUR REQUIREMENTS:

• Higher education in economics (Accounting, Finance or a related field).
• Relevant professional experience in a similar position.
• Excellent knowledge of Bulgarian accounting and tax legislation, as well as applicable accounting standards.
• Computer literacy.
• Initiative, analytical thinking, loyalty and attention to detail.
