Katarzyna's impressive performance at Decanter 2025 – All submitted wines with medals!

We are proud to share that Katarzyna Estate achieved outstanding success at the most prestigious wine competition in the world – Decanter World Wine Awards 2025. In this year's edition of the competition, all six wines submitted by our winery were awarded medals – recognition of our consistent quality, passion and dedication to winemaking.

The distinctions from Decanter 2025:

• Katarzyna Mavrud 2022 – Gold Medal (95 points)
• Katarzyna Rubin 2022 – Gold Medal (95 points)
• Katarzyna Merlot 2022 – Silver Medal (90 points)
• Encore Syrah 2022 – Bronze Medal (89 points)
• Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot 2019 – Bronze Medal (89 points)
• Cheval Mavrud 2023 – Bronze Medal (88 points)

We are especially proud of the two gold awards for Mavrud and Rubin vintage 2022, which emphasize the importance of Bulgarian varieties and terroir on the world stage - proof that quality Bulgarian wine can stand shoulder to shoulder with the best in the world.
