Katarzyna Estate has once again been honored with the prestigious “Best Producer Bulgaria” award at the international wine competition Mundus Vini Spring Tasting 2026. This distinction is awarded to the producer with the highest results among the Bulgarian participants and confirms the winery’s consistent quality and strong international performance. It is the second consecutive year that Katarzyna Estate receives this recognition, further strengthening its position among the leading names in Bulgarian and international winemaking.
With the “Best Producer Bulgaria” award, Katarzyna Estate highlights its role as a benchmark for quality in Bulgaria, demonstrating uncompromising control at every stage of the production process and reinforcing the winery’s presence on both the national and international wine scenes.
Additional recognition for the winery’s long-standing success comes on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the international competition Mundus Vini. As part of the anniversary edition, Katarzyna Estate receives a special award honoring the most successful companies that have participated in the competition over the past quarter century. The distinction is granted to producers whose consistent achievements have been among the highlights in the 25-year history of the competition and represents the highest expression of appreciation from the organizers for the contribution wineries make to the image of Mundus Vini. The award will be presented at a special ceremony on March 16 during the ProWein Düsseldorf trade fair.
Mundus Vini is among the most authoritative international wine competitions, where thousands of wines from dozens of countries are evaluated each year. The tastings are conducted by an international jury composed of renowned oenologists, sommeliers, wine journalists, and wine merchants, following a strict methodology and high professional standards.
The awards are a recognition of Katarzyna Estate’s comprehensive approach — from the careful care of the vineyards and the precise selection of grape varieties, to the implementation of modern technologies and the development of a distinctive style recognized both by the professional community and by wine enthusiasts.
