Mundus Vini Spring Tasting 2026, marking its 38th edition, is one of the most prestigious wine competitions in the world. Every spring and summer, an international jury tastes over 12,000 wines from dozens of countries. Founded in 2000 by Meininger Verlag, Germany’s oldest specialized wine publisher, the competition brings together leading international wine experts each year, ensuring objectivity, professionalism, and international recognition for the awarded wines.
The success of Katarzyna Estate at the spring edition of the competition in 2026 is yet another proof that Bulgarian wine is confidently taking its place on the global stage. The awards not only enhance the international prestige of the winery but also reinforce Bulgaria’s image as a country with rich traditions and a modern approach to winemaking.
“For us, it is a great honor to see our wines once again recognized by leading international experts. These awards are the result of many years of hard work, dedication, and passion for creating wines with a unique character,” shared the team at Katarzyna Estate.
With achievements like these, the winery not only strengthens its position on the international market but also stimulates interest in Bulgarian wines that combine tradition, quality, and innovation.
