The wines from the CHEVAL De KATARZYNA series are single-varietal and can be defined as true representatives of terroir-driven wines. With these wines, the winemakers apply minimal intervention, as the main goal is for the terroir to fully express itself and leave a distinct imprint on the varietal’s development. For example, the taste may reveal notes of flint, minerality, saltiness (depending on the soil and sunlight), or specific aromas of local herbs and plants (influenced by the location), and so on.
The wine is characterized by an intense yellow color with a green hue. It has aromas of ripe yellow and citrus fruits, with pleasant, subtle hints of oak. The wine is full-bodied and balanced in taste. The finish is smooth and long-lasting with a pleasant freshness.
It is combined very well with various salads, pasta, lasagna, smoked fish – such as trout and white meats. The ideal serving temperature is 12°C-14°C.
