The 2016 vintage started with significant rainfall during spring and early summer, which reduced the total amount of harvested grapes. However, the summer and autumn were dry and moderately warm, which led to very high-quality grapes. We bottled 300 bottles of Cabernet Sauvignon, each with a serial number, and the grapes were selected from the earliest planted vineyard blocks, where the vines are in their optimal development. The specially selected parcel is small in size and has some of the most favorable conditions for growing the variety.
The wine is characterized by an intense ruby-red color. The rich and harmonious aroma includes concentrated notes of spices, black pepper, earth, black fruits, vanilla, and smoke. On the palate, the wine is viscous with a soft sweetness and a long-lasting aftertaste.
It is combined very well with spicy dishes, game meats, or cured meats. The recommended serving temperature is 18°C-20°C.
